The 593 in my name

593 is Ecuador’s international dialling code. That’s where I discovered the music I play today: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia and Bachata, and later Reggaeton and Latin Pop. Today I live in Franconia and bring these rhythms to parties all over Germany.

Over 20 years behind the decks

I have played at parties in several countries. Between 2000 and 2010 I played at Latin open-air festivals across Europe and in the USA. In Munich I played at Latin parties at the Muffatwerk, and in Nuremberg I was behind the decks as a guest DJ for a major Latin party series at the WON – World of Nightlife superclub. In Nuremberg I was the resident DJ at Bar Bayamo for almost a year, run by the owner of Club Fogón. On top of that come numerous Latin parties and events in the Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen area and many private celebrations, for example in Schwabach.

Rincón Latino

With the Rincón Latino party series, I have created a meeting place in Bamberg and at Eventvilla Forchheim for everyone who loves Latin American music – whether experienced Salsa dancers or simply curious. On special nights, Rafy, a singer from Ecuador, joins me live on stage.

How I DJ

I read the dance floor. At a Salsa party, social dancers want clean transitions and the right tempo; at a wedding, Grandma and the colleagues should join in too. That’s why I plan every event in a preliminary chat and stay flexible on the night.
